In October-November 2022, URSA team carried out a sterilization program for homeless animals in Kharkiv city and the region. Despite the sounds of sirens, constant missile attacks and power outages, the experienced vets were able to operate and vaccinate against rabies 217 animals, including 156 cats and 61 dogs.
The sterilization program was launched with the support of the International Fund for Animal Welfare IFAW and took place in the deoccupied cities of Kharkiv region, where since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the issue of homeless and abandoned animals has become critical.
